What's the difference between the Focus Dog Pro versions?

There are three Focus Dog Pro versions. The reason there’s a choice at all: I wanted to give users the option to decide how (and how much) they want to support the app — and the developer.

App Store guidelines don’t allow developers to add a “donations” option, so different tiers are the only way I can offer this.

Focus Dog Pro — one-time purchase (cheapest, no gifts)

The cheapest one-time purchase unlocks all Focus Dog Pro features. You pay once and Pro lasts forever — a lifetime purchase. You get every Pro feature the app offers.

Focus Dog Pro+ — one-time purchase (higher upfront cost, no subscription, gifts)

A more expensive one-time purchase unlocks Pro+ and rewards you with gifts: gems, a fast supporter-only donut machine, and a supporter-only background. Like Pro, this is a lifetime purchase.

Focus Dog Pro+ — subscription (low monthly cost, gifts)

The Pro+ subscription is a recurring payment. This option supports development the most, since you contribute a small amount every month. You get the same in-game benefits as the one-time Pro+ purchase: gems, the supporter-only machine, and the supporter-only background — for as long as your subscription is active.
