I bought Focus Dog Pro on another device — do I need to buy it again?

Short answer: no.

Using Focus Dog on multiple devices

Focus Dog isn’t optimized for seamless multi-device use, but you only need to make one purchase per platform (Apple or Android). For example, if you buy Pro on an iPhone, the license is available on all your other Apple devices.

Running the app on more than one device at the same time isn’t recommended — one device can override the other. Suppose you have two devices, A and B. You purchased Pro on device A, but device B doesn’t show Pro yet.

To resolve this:

  1. On device A (the one where you purchased Pro), trigger a sync by either:
    • Restarting the app and waiting about 3 seconds, or
    • Starting, stopping, and saving a session.

    This uploads your latest Pro status to the server.

  2. On device B, force-quit Focus Dog and relaunch it.

After this, your Pro status should be reflected on all your devices. If you still see issues, reach out to support.
