You can donate gems inside the app to feed dogs in need.

Good news: you don’t need to purchase anything! Simply complete challenges to earn gems (see Challenges explained). Donations don’t come from in-app purchases — I match the virtual donations with a real one.

I have a cost ratio for what a meal costs. When the current goal is reached, a batch is bought and brought to a shelter. Then it’s on to the next goal — there are always more meals to provide for real dogs.

Each batch of food is now documented inside the donation view in the app, right next to the progress bar — so you can see exactly where the contributions go.
